WEBLAST developed a fully integrated blasting machine system for a ductile iron pipe manufacturer, designed to handle both internal and external surface blasting in a single production line. The system accommodates a wide range of pipe diameters from 6” (small diameter) up to 1.2m large diameter pipes, ensuring consistent surface preparation quality for coating and corrosion protection.

A key engineering challenge was the pipe spigot design, which complicates smooth conveying and rotation. WEBLAST addressed this by developing a specialized conveying and support system that ensures stable pipe handling, precise alignment, and uninterrupted blasting performance throughout the process.
