Dust Collectors

Industries
Dust collectors commonly used in factories for ventilation and product recovery applications
Blasting Mining Solar Panel Fabrication
Chemical Processing Paper Scrap Thermal/Flame Spray
Fiber-Glass Pharmaceutical Welding
Food Processing Rubber Grinding Wood-Working
Laser & Plasma Cutting Seed Processing and more . . . .

WEBLAST manufactures both the filter cartridges type and filter bags type dust collectors. The collectors are configured according to 2 main flows patterns.

Dusts flow into the collector at the hopper Dusts flow into the collector from the top
Such arrangement can use filter bag or filter cartridges This arrangement is applicable only to filter cartridges application

A list of common size filters cartridges collectors are as listed below.

Down flow type construction with dirty air entering the collector units from the top

2DF8 model 3DF12 model with a secondary exhaust filter

There is also conventional cartridges arrangement with filters mounting vertically and dirty air enters from the bottom hopper side duct. Dust collector sizes with various numbers of cartridges are list below.

Bag Type Dust Collector for Industry

Bag type dust collector systems generally fall into one of the following categories:
  1. Pulse jet cleaning system
  2. Shaker cleaning system

In Pulse jet system, the dust is collected on the outside of the filter bag and clean air exits through the inside of the bag. The bag is supported by wire cage to prevent the bag from collapsing during operation.

The filter bags are usually on a ‘Top Load’ system during installation. Access opening is provided at the top of the collector unit for removal & installation of filters.

Pulse jet filter cleaning devices including diaphragm valves and timer controller

Filter Bag Medias Options
Generally pulse jet system utilizes needle felt media while shaker system use woven clothes material. Medias are manufactured from a variety of manmade fibers and are selected based on a number of factors including: operating temperature, chemical components in the dust stream, abrasion of dust being handled, as well as other characteristic of the system.  A number of treatments are available to improve dust discharge on the cleaning cycle, improve the filter efficiency, to add flame retardant qualities and other specialized applications.
